The Long Road to Revision

I never thought this day would come. When I finished the first draft of my current project  I wasn’t excited, because I knew what came next. The reread, the rewrite, the revision. All those sections where I had skipped description, flaked on dialogue and used the same cliché lines over and over. They were coming back to haunt me.

A year ago I wasn’t a big twitter user. I didn’t know how to utilize it and I didn’t really understand how it would benefit me. Now the twitter addiction is strong. Believe it or not as an aspiring writer, established writer, and even just a reader twitter can be the best way for you to get to know your favorite authors and get the latest news on what is happening in the industry.

Historical LGBT Books That Inspire Me!

Happy Pride Month everyone! Now is the perfect time to recommend some of my favorite LGBTQ historical books.

I have a deep love for historical LGBTQ books, mostly because they show that queer people have existed since the dawn of time and I find different eras posed their own unique problems that are different contemporary queer romance . While there are a lot of ones that take place in England I’ve made sure to start with some different time periods and different countries first.
